dachte es gibt nur 33,66,100 und 125.
nur auf doof würd ich den mal auf tickrate 100 starten.

was es die anzahl an servern mit vac angeht,ich habe auf meiner kiste vor kurzen mal 14 server gestartet zum testen und alle hatten vac.

bei den meisten liegt er um die 60-80.
was mich nun interessiert ist,wie kann man diesen wert beeinflussen ausser über die tickrate und die server.cfg.

wenn du die optionen zu den jeweiligen "befehlen" haben möchtest,setz --help hinten dran.

fang erstmal mit den grundlagen an,besser ist das
ich glaube,was er meint ist was im screen passiert.
screen -r sollte dich dann in den screen bringen.
wenn du mehrere screens laufen hast,kommt die auflistung mit den pidnummern dazu.
dann wäre der befehl umzuändern in screen -r pidnummer
mit der tasten kombi strg +a +d bringt dich wieder raus.

das sit normal.die scrcds_run ist nur das startscript,welche die passende engine aussucht für deinen server.
kann man den server nicht einfach ohne screen starten,um zu sehen was passiert.?
den hier finde ich recht gut erklärt,sollte sogar für dein system passen.
vllt vorher noch ein backup von den wichtigsten teilen machen.

nein leider nicht,ich hätte auch gern einiges aus dem board gehabt,aber leider zu spät dran gedacht.
wenn du dich selbst scheust den kernel zu tunen,gibt es auch eine firma die sich speziel damit beschäftigt.

@ dead_eye...hast ja recht^^ war auch nur ein beispiel.
das was der dlient misst,ist lediglich der datenstrom,ich kann dir ein tick125 server aufsetzen,der garantiert die tick 125 hält,
und du kannst trotzdem nur in/out von 33 messen.
und wie schon erwähnt,spielt die anbindung auch eine kleine rolle,wahrscheinlich hast du auch choke
auf dem server der die tick nicht halten soll.
aber das nur am rande.
hast du schon mal geschaut zu dem was dead_eye geschrieben hat,ist nämlich auch ein sehr wichtiger aspekt.
kernel-howtos gibt es genügend,teilweise mehr oder weniger verständlich.google hilft.
unter kernel backen findet man reichlich.
dir ist aber schon klar,das das daten sind die der client mißt oder?
es kann auch dadran liegen,das die anbindung nicht unbedingt die beste ist.
nur zur info...der netgraph sagt dir mal überhaupt nix über die tickrate aus.
edit:habe ich richtig gelesn,homepage etc läuft auch noch,hat auf einem game"root" eigentlich nix zu suchen.
