habe heute zuerst in einer VM-Ware und dann live auf dem Server das Kernel-Update wie hier beschrieben installiert:

In der VMWARE hat alles einwandfrei funktioniert, Kernel upgedatet, neu gebootet -->> passt
Also bin ich auf den Server:

Dort bekomme ich folgende Fehlermeldung :

Die /boot/grub/menu.lst wurde nicht verändert obwohl ich das exakt gleiche Szenario eingehalten habe, hmm ?
Habe in beiden Fällen die Anleitung für "mit initrd" verwendet.
Habe ich etwas übersehen oder falsch gemacht ?
Hat jemand einen Tip für mich ?
